ERPNext's Stock Value and Account Value Comparison report helps users identify discrepancies between the value posted to the Stock Ledger Account in the General Ledger and the stock value shown in the Stock Balance Report.
Organisations should confirm that the closing stock value and the book stock account balance match at the end of each fiscal year. However, these values might not always be equal because of incorrect or missing transactions.
