Shipping Rule
Shipping Rule
Using the Shipping Rule, you can define the cost of delivering products to customers based on the order value, weight, or location.
ERPNext allows you to create multiple shipping slabs or apply a fixed shipping amount based on criteria like these.
Net Total
Net weight
Area or Country
Cost centres and special shipping accounts
This allows you to automatically apply different shipping charges based on the customer's location or the order's specifications.
To access Shipping Rule, go to:

2. Features
2.1 Add Shipping Rule Conditions
When you select "Net Total" or "Net Weight" under the "Calculate Based On" field, a table will appear allowing you to define range-based slabs.
The From and To values for weight or amount can be specified.
Enter the appropriate Shipping Amount for each range.
To accommodate various price points, add more than one slab.
2.2 Restrict to Countries
A shipping rule can be limited to particular nations:
- In the "Applicable Countries" table, include one or more countries.
- The shipping rule will be regarded as global by default if no country is chosen.
Businesses that operate internationally, where shipping costs differ depending on the destination, will find this helpful.
