Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions are the rules that a buyer and seller agree to follow when they buy or sell a product or service.

It would be best if every Quote or Sales Order came with a set of Terms and Conditions that clearly state what your business is responsible for. These help set the rules for service, how it can be used, limits on liability, and other legal issues. Making a standard template for your Terms and Conditions will make sure that your business documents are clear and consistent.

1.3 What should be in the Terms and Conditions?

Terms and Conditions templates usually have the following:

  1. How long the offer is good for.

  2. Do you have to pay in full, on credit, or in part?

  3. List any goods or services that cost the customer more.

  4. Warnings about safety and how to use the product, especially for dangerous or technical items.

  5. Information about the warranty, if any.

  6. The rules for how items can be returned.

  7. The time frames, methods, and duties that apply during shipping.

  8. How disputes will be handled, including clauses on indemnity and liability.

  9. Company contact information, such as an address, phone number, and email address.

These clauses are both general and specific rules that your business must follow. They are an important part of any agreement or contract made with customers, suppliers, or business partners.
