Print Headings
You can give transactions in ERPNext custom titles or names called "Print Headings" that better fit the way you talk to customers or the way you do business. These headings are often used for documents like purchase orders, sales invoices, quotations, and supplier quotations. Businesses can use Print Headings to change the names of these documents as they appear on printed formats to match what clients expect or their own naming conventions.
For instance, you could show a standard Quotation like this:
Proposal
Guess
Pro Forma Invoice based on what you want.
To use the Print Headings feature, go to:
1. How to Make a Print Heading
- Click on New in the Print Heading list.
- Type in the title or heading that you want to show up on the printed document.
- Click Save.
- You can now use this heading in different types of documents.

To print a document with a heading:
Find the "Print Heading" field when making or changing a transaction, like a sales invoice or a quote. - Choose the heading you want from the list you made. - The default title will be replaced by the selected heading at the top of the print format when the document is printed.

For example: If you choose "Proposal" as the Print Heading in a Quotation, the printed document will say "Proposal" instead of the default word "Quotation."
