Introduction to CRM
The CRM module in the newer version of ERPNext is developed to fuel customer interactions, make the sales team more efficient, and offer a centralized solution for the complete sales life cycle. It offers a closer integration with communication solution, more robust analytics and higher flexibility of automation in order to allow organizations to cultivate leads, faster deals, and improved customer relationships.
Lead Management: Capture, follow, and cultivate leads through multiple stages of the sales funnel. Leads can be manually created or captured automatically from web forms, email campaigns, or integrations. You can assign leads to certain team members, include notes, follow-up reminders, and tag them by priority or source. Lead status tracking and lead scoring are there to make sure that most promising leads have a precedence.
Opportunity Tracking: Track opportunities, their relation to the customers or leads, their progress and potential revenue. The opportunities can be demonstrated in a Kanban board where each stage of the sales process is manifested. Deals can be prioritized and correct forecast on the sales performance made, probability levels, predicted closing dates, real-time updates are accommodated.
Customer Management: Maintain complete customer profile data containing contact numbers, purchase records, call history and supporting files. Customers are grouped based on industry, region, or other characteristics for selective campaigns. Integration with other modules in ERPNext provides a 360° view of all customer interactions, starting from inquiries up to invoicing.
Activity Management: Arrange and follow up on meetings, calls, follow-up, and demos to engage the customers regularly. Each activity can be related to one lead, opportunity or customer. Reminders and notifications will keep individuals to time, and activity history will provide a context on how to proceed in the future. The collaboration features such as comments and exchange of documents will help with coordination of the team.

Report filtering by sales rep, time frame, product, or customer type is supported. Real-time visual metrics in customized dashboards track targets, pipeline health, and conversion rates.
