Upload Attendance
The Upload Attendance tool in ERPNext v15 is designed to enable HR administrators and managers to directly import large batches of employee attendance records from a CSV file with ease and speed into the system. This saves time and minimizes errors through manual entry.
To import the attendance, follow the steps below
1. Requirements
Before one uploads several attendance records, it is better first to validate that the Employee master record are established. This is because attendance data always need to be mapped to actual Employee IDs. Employee records not properly created will cause the uploading process to fail or make partial entries.
2. Uploading numerous attendance at one time
Enter the Attendance From date and Attendance To Date fields initially. These two specify the exact date range for which you would like to enter attendance in bulk.

Press the "Get Template" button. This would download a properly formatted CSV file automatically from ERPNext with the employee details like their Employee ID, Name, etc. This is a preformatted one for you to enter attendance details.
3. Template for attendance
Fill in the Status for each Employee in your preferred date range within this downloadable CSV file. You can usually flag the status as Present, Absent, On Leave, Half Day, or Work From Home, depending on how you have your HR policies organized. This is to make sure all attendance records are uniform.
Save the CSV file on your computer once you have entered and confirmed all of your employees' attendance information in the template.
