The Vehicle document lets you list all the different kinds of vehicles your firm owns. It is the Vehicle Master for Fleet Management and keeps track of all the vehicles in the fleet and their important information. The Vehicle master helps keep track of how much a vehicle is used, how much it costs to maintain, insure, and run.

1. How to make a Vehicle paperwork

  • Go to the Vehicle list and click on New.

  • Fill in the essential fields, such as License Plate, Make (Brand), and Model.

  • To keep track of mileage correctly, enter the Odometer value (Last).

  • Enter further information, such as the type of fuel and the unit of measurement (UOM).

  • Keep the document.

  • Having a Vehicle document makes it easy for fleet management, monitoring, and reporting because it keeps all the important vehicle information in one place. It also lays the groundwork for keeping vehicle logs, processing expense claims, and making fleet reports.

  • Extra vehicle information adds to the Vehicle master by presenting a full image of each vehicle. The information includes:

  • The only way to tell what the chassis number is.

  • Date of acquisition to keep an eye on age and the calculation of depreciation.

  • Value of a vehicle (amount) for accounting and asset management.
